The Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and capable Assistant Centre Manager to join our team on a parental leave contract. This role offers the best of both worlds — spending time on the floor with children while also supporting the Centre Manager in the day-to-day operations of our well-established centre.

This is a fulfilling opportunity for an experienced ACM ready to step further into leadership, gain valuable management experience, and make a genuine difference in the lives of children, families, and your team.

About You

You are an enthusiastic, organised, and people-focused professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and leas with confidence and warmth.

You will bring:

  • A Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Bachelor (or equivalent) in Early Childhood Education
  • A valid Working with Children Check
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Child Protection Training (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong knowledge of Child Safe Standards
  • Red Nose, Food Safety, and SunSmart training (or willingness to obtain)
  • Availability for shifts 6:30am to 6:30pm, Monday to Friday

     

You will also demonstrate:

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
  • In-depth knowledge of the EYLF, NQS, and the Assessment & Rating process
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality education and care
  • A positive, friendly, and energetic approach to your work
