Casual Early Childhood Educator - Balnarring ELC

The Opportunity
We’re currently seeking a Casual Educator to join our close-knit team, supporting across the week to cover leave, programming support, and daily staffing needs.
This is a flexible role, ideal for someone who enjoys variety and thrives in a collaborative, child-focused environment.
As a valued member of our team, you will:
- Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for all children
- Use active supervision to support children’s safety and wellbeing
- Collaborate with fellow educators to deliver meaningful, play-based learning experiences aligned with the EYLF
- Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and your team
- Support children’s individual needs, interests, and development
- Guide behaviour with a positive and responsive approach
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and culturally safe environment
About You
You’re someone who brings warmth, reliability, and a genuine passion for early education. You enjoy being part of a team and stepping in where needed to support quality outcomes for children.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Availability to work Monday to Friday between 6:30am and 6:30pm (flexibility across these hours is essential)
- A Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent) – or currently working towards
- A current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Completed (or willingness to complete):
- Child Protection Training
- Red Nose Safe Sleeping Training
- Food Safety Certification
- A sound understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
- Knowledge of Child Safe Standards and a commitment to child safety
- Strong communication skills and a relationship-focused approach
