We’re on the hunt for a passionate and creative Cook to join our close-knit team at Mayfield Early Education – Enoggera! This is a Permanent Part-Time position (25-30 hours per week, 5 or 6-hour shifts, Monday to Friday) – and we can be flexible with the hours to help you achieve that perfect work-life balance!

What you’ll be doing:

  • Cooking up wholesome, tasty meals that children will love!
  • Planning and preparing nutritionally balanced menus (including dietary/allergy-friendly options).
  • Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen while meeting health & safety guidelines.
  • Being a part of our warm and welcoming early education family!

What we’re looking for:

  • Passion for cooking and providing nutritious meals for children (ages 6 weeks – 6 years).
  • Experience in meal planning, kitchen management, and food preparation - this can be in a professional setting or for you and your family at home! 
  • Understanding of dietary restrictions and allergies.
  • A team player who loves engaging with children, families, and staff.
  • Valid WWCC & Food Handling Certificate.
  • Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (preferred).
  • First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma certificates (or willingness to obtain).
