Mayfield Early Education Kilmore is looking for a Centre Cook to join our warm, welcoming, and close-knit team. This is a permanent part-time role, working five days per week, with flexibility around shift times for the right person.

About the Role

  • Prepare fresh, wholesome meals and snacks for children each day
  • Plan menus that meet nutritional guidelines and cater to dietary and allergy requirements
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised kitchen
  • Manage food preparation, ordering, and stock control
  • Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are met
  • Work collaboratively with educators to support children’s wellbeing

About You

  • Previous experience cooking for groups (early learning, schools, aged care, or similar)
  • Food Safety Supervisor Certification (essential)
  • Available to work five days per week, Monday to Friday
  • Organised, reliable, and proud of maintaining high standards
  • A positive, team-focused attitude
  • Childcare qualification is advantageous but not essential
