Centre Cook - Mayfield Early Education Norman Gardens

Mayfield Early Education – Norman Gardens is looking for a passionate, creative Cook to join our close-knit team! This is a Permanent Part-Time role (8am – 2pm, Monday to Friday), with flexibility to suit your lifestyle and achieve the perfect work-life balance.

- Planning and cooking nutritionally balanced menus, including allergy-friendly options.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised kitchen while following health and safety guidelines.
- Engaging with children, families, and staff as part of our warm early education community.
- A genuine passion for cooking and providing nutritious meals for children (ages 6 weeks – 6 years).
- Experience in meal planning, food preparation, and kitchen management.
- Knowledge of dietary restrictions and food allergies.
- A collaborative, team-focused attitude and enjoyment in engaging with children and families.
- Valid Working With Children Check and Food Handling Certificate.
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (preferred).
- First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates (or willingness to obtain).
