Early Childhood Educator - Tullamarine

The Opportunity
We're on the look out for a passionate and dedicated Educator to join our incredible team on a permanent basis, five days a week.
As an integral part of the team, you will play a crucial role in creating a nurturing and educational environment for the children in our care.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring child safety & wellbeing using your active supervision skills.
- Collaborating with the team on age-appropriate curriculum implementation.
- Providing personalised attention, addressing unique learning styles and needs of the children in our care.
- Guiding behaviour through positive reinforcement for social and emotional development.
- Maintaining open communication with parents about a child's progress and concerns.
- Actively participating in team meetings for a cohesive approach to early childhood education.
- Fostering a positive, inclusive atmosphere embracing diverse backgrounds in a culturally sensitive manner.
You
- Available to work up to 37.5 hours a week
- Hold a minimum of a Cert III in ECEC (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
- Valid WWCC
- First Aid / Child Protection / Red Nose / Food Safety training (or willing to obtain)
- Working knowledge & understanding of Child Safe Standards
- Working knowledge & understanding of NQF & EYLF
- Genuine passion for the Early Childhood sector - you will enjoy communicating with and building trusted relationships with children, their families, your teammates and the wider community.
