Early Childhood Teacher - Pebble Patch ELC, Cranbourne
Welcome to Pebble Patch ELC!
Are you a passionate, inspiring Early Childhood Teacher who loves sparking curiosity, confidence, and wonder in young children? If you’re searching for a meaningful role filled with community, creativity, and heart — Pebble Patch Early Learning Centre in Cranbourne can’t wait to welcome you!
Why Work with Us?
Pebble Patch isn’t just a centre — it’s a warm, close-knit community where educators, children, and families truly feel at home. Our purpose-built, light-filled learning spaces provide a cosy, nurturing environment, while our shady outdoor areas and vibrant gardens offer endless opportunities for meaningful exploration and play.
We’re a collaborative, fun-loving team who enjoy team-building days, dress-up celebrations, cultural events, and professional growth together. With strong mentorship and ongoing development, you will always feel supported, valued, and empowered.
What Makes This Role Unique?
This permanent ECT opportunity offers both structure and variety, allowing you to bring your teaching expertise to life across different age groups.
You’ll work in a sessional kindergarten teaching position with a rotating roster:
- Week 1: Two days on site — Wednesday and Thursday, 9am–5pm
- Week 2: Three days working in the 4-year-old room, fully engaged on the floor at all times
This blend of sessional teaching and classroom practice gives you the best of both worlds — the chance to deepen your skills, apply your pedagogy in diverse settings, build strong relationships with children at different developmental stages, and experience a rewarding variety in your work.
You’ll also help shape and deliver Pebble Patch’s much-loved programs, including Garden to Plate, Mini Master Chefs, Wayapa Wuurrk meditation, Sing and Grow music, and our dynamic School Readiness Program.

- Lead documentation, planning, and observations to champion strong learning outcomes.
- Enjoy hands-on, on-the-floor teaching — connecting meaningfully with children every day.
- Continue your own learning journey through dedicated professional development.
Role Requirements
We’re looking for an inspiring, dedicated teacher who:
- Holds a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or ACECQA-approved equivalent (mandatory).
- Has a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC).

- Is willing to complete Child Protection, Red Nose, and Food Safety training.
- Brings flexibility, confidence, and a passion for working across different age groups.
- Thrives in a warm, supportive team culture built on respect and collaboration.
