General Manager
Mayfield Childcare Ltd is a multi-brand early education group operating across Australia, focused on delivering consistent, high-quality outcomes for children, families, and teams.
We are seeking an experienced General Manager to establish and lead a group-wide customer support function for Mayfield.
The Role
This role is responsible for designing and embedding a consistent customer support model that improves service quality, responsiveness, and coordination across the Mayfield network. Working closely with senior leadership and centre teams, the General Manager will build the foundations, systems, and standards required to support families effectively.
The role is intentionally broad and focused on capability-building rather than day-to-day centre operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish a centralised customer support function and operating model for the Group
- Define service standards, processes, and escalation pathways
- Implement systems and reporting to support consistent service delivery
- Support centre teams through structured customer support capability
- Monitor service performance and drive continuous improvement
- Oversee external service providers and technology platforms
- Build and lead a high-performing customer support team
About You
- Senior leadership experience in a General Manager or equivalent role
- Proven experience establishing or scaling customer support or shared service functions
- Experience in multi-site or service-based environments
- Strong operational judgement and delivery focus
- Professional, measured leadership style
- Comfortable operating in regulated environments
