Why This Centre
Norman Gardens is more than a centre; it’s a warm and welcoming space where every child feels at home — and where educators relocating can quickly feel part of the local community. Located in one of Rockhampton’s most convenient and family-friendly suburbs, the centre offers the chance to build meaningful community connections while enjoying a more balanced pace of life. Our carefully designed environment — from the cosy Baby World library to our hands-on ‘Garden to Plate’ program — encourages curiosity, creativity, and connection with nature. We celebrate diversity, showcasing multicultural flags, artwork, and activities that reflect and embrace each child’s heritage. Our strong community connections bring visitors like police, firefighters, and local experts to enhance children’s learning experiences.
