About the Role
As a Room Leader, you’ll play a vital role in creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where children can thrive. You will:
- Lead by example! Setting the standard in providing high-quality care and education, fostering positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Design engaging learning experiences by developing and implement age-appropriate, creative, and inclusive activities that inspire children’s curiosity and growth.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive space that support children’s physical and emotional wellbeing, ensuring this celebrates diversity and makes everyone feel included.
- Stop, Collaborate and Mentor! Work closely with team members, sharing knowledge and guidance to foster a strong, supportive team culture.
To Apply for This Role, You Will Need:
- A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards it) or equivalent qualification recognised by ACECQA.
- Demonstrated experience working with children in an early education setting.
- Leadership qualities with a passion for inspiring young minds and nurturing their growth.
- A current Working with Children Check and First Aid/CPR certification.
- All required compliance documentation such as Food Safety, Sun Smart, Safe Sleeping, Child Protection Certificate (or willing to obtain)
- A commitment to ongoing learning, development, and inclusivity in the workplace.
